What a day!!!

WELL! I met a grip (grip? lol) of new people today! How exciting! here are some BETTER names than yesterday...
Chase, Aaron, Dan, James, James, James, (there are 3 james') PAUL, MIKE, brett again, chris again...those are all the guys I hung out with today. It was awesome. I got a lot of numbers, but mostly just gave out mine. I LOVE this college business...haha.

So this morning I got up at 6:30 so I could go to the big breakfast and morningside (mormon thing) and then I didnt take a nap! and after that we went to a little bit of orientation, and then a big service project where we painted wooden cars for little kids, and then ate lunch. Then after that I went to K mart to do some shopping that needed to be done, I needed stuff for laundry...so yeah. Then I came home and almost got to my bed to take a nap and all these guys come in my door and want to chill in our apt, so I didnt go to bed, but I had a ton of fun with them. Then after that we had to go to this big showcase thingy, the only reason i went was to see one of my team leaders do some latino dancing..lol, that was awesome. Then after that I came back here and got all ready for the big dance tonight, and i had SUCH a blast with all the guys I've met, and a bunch of us girls are going to go to their house tomorrow to chill. It will be SO fun. Im excited. ALright, I have been up for SO long, so I am going to bed.

I hope all are well. Email me if you want! I miss you!

First day of orientation....complete

Well. Today was SO long, but very fun, and I met a ton of new people. Let me list a few names of people I met, and we will see if there is ever another entry about any of them---
Chris,Brett,James,Jay,Katie(shes from OREGON!!!),Kim,McCall,Ben,Mike, NATE, jason.....
Thats all I can remember, but there is a dance tomorrow night and we'll see how that goes! (Nate is really good looking, but hes way older than me)

alright...lets see. So today i went to orientation all day and then had a two hour tour of the school, thats where I met Nate, he was our tour guide...he got my numba...woot. And then after that we listened to some old people talk for like an hour and that was long. Then we went home and then all my roommates wanted to be poopers and they wouldnt come with me to the extravaganza, so I went alone, and met all these new people, it was awesome, and Im glad I went rather than just sitting at home doing...well this..haha.

Well, Im beat. But I miss all you Hillsboro folk. its a good place, you just dont realize it until you leave for a while. Im so spent though, so I have to go to bed. I promise I will write more when all these crazy things start slowing down. Thanks for tuning in.

Officially a College Girl!

WOW....I am officially in college. Can you believe it? I moved into my dorm today, and seriously people of the internet world, I could not ask for better roommates. They are awesome. I've had a great time. I'm all moved in, and its great. Not too crowded either. Get this...All four of us girls in our apartment have cars..lol. We all have cell phones too. Im the only one who brought a DVD player though. Oh, and we have two computers for our two rooms...PERFECT! I love it. its fun, but I miss my friends at home. But ya know, you have to move on sometime. It will be ok. But I think I will find out who my real friends are by who works with me to stay in contact. I am feeling pretty content right now, except classes haven't started yet, so we'll see how it is on Monday! I have orientation tomorrow, so hopefully I will get out and meet some people. I have to buy my books tomorrow too, so it will be a fun filled day (just kidding). But yeah, my curfew is still midnight, which sucks, but I'll live. They lock the gates at midnight, so if you aren't home by then, you are screwed! Goodtimes wouldn't you say? I sure would. Alright....Lets see. I went to Las Vegas last week, and that was pretty eventful. I don't know, I have nothing to write about! Ha...I will tell you about my roommates---One is from Montana (my actual ROOM mate)Her name is Andrea and she grew up on a farm. One is from California and she has a brand new car, and its great, its a very cute green color...Good times her name is Amy. Then there is Jaquelin who is originally from New Hampshire, and then moved to Salt Lake City in 9th grade. I think 3 roommates is like, perfect! We will have fun. We went grocery shopping today...That was an adventure..lol, none of us had ever done it before---enough said. haha. Alright, I think I have bored you enough, so Im gonna go, but seriously...Email me or something! melobee23@msn.com
DO IT!

a new beginning...

Well, I figured that since I am going to college, I should start a new blog. I like this one more anyway. Today and yesterday have been incredibly emotional, because of a few select things that have happened, and me leaving for college in two days only makes the emotions more frequently shared. I cried in front of someone for the first time last night in a long long time. It felt good, but it also felt weird. I just don't usually do it. Anyways. I've got such mixed feelings about leaving, but I really think its for the best that I leave. There are just too many things here that I could get involved with, but I can't because Im leaving. I dont know. Anyways, I just want to take this little opportunity to thank all my friends for making me who I am...I may not be perfect, but I feel like I turned out OK, and I think You have helped to do that. So thanks. Anyways,I dont have anything else to say, so now Im going to stop writing, but seriously, feel free to read anytime, Im sure I'll update this lots while Im at college, so you can hear about dates, classes, and roommates (hopefully all good things!) until next time.
